This policy explains what Your Holiday Reminder ("we") collects, why, and what you can do about it. We're a small independent business based in New York, and we keep this as short as we can.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you sign up for reminders.
- Optional details you choose to give us: your first name, and dates such as a partner's birthday or your anniversary.
- Basic, anonymous site statistics, such as which pages are visited, collected without advertising cookies.
We don't ask for, and you shouldn't give us, anything more sensitive than that.
How we use it
- To send the reminder emails you signed up for: holiday reminders, and reminders before any dates you added.
- To understand which pages are useful so we can improve them.
We don't sell, rent or trade your email address or your dates. We don't use them for advertising profiles.
Who helps us run this
- Email service. Your email address and any dates you add are stored with our email provider, MailerLite, which sends the reminders on our behalf.
- Website hosting. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
- Affiliate retailers. When you click a link to Amazon or another retailer, that retailer may set its own cookies to track the referral. Their privacy policies apply on their sites.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe any time with the link at the bottom of every email.
- Change or delete your details. Email us and we'll update or delete your information, including any dates you gave us.
- Ask what we hold. Email us and we'll tell you what we have about you.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you and delete your details on request.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and tell subscribers by email.

Shop early without having to remember to
We email you three weeks before every gift holiday, and before the birthdays you add, then once more a week out. Each email links to the right gift list. Nothing else.
